Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, recently indulged in a nostalgic moment as he shared glimpses of his Marvel comics collection. The 41-year-old also expressed heartfelt gratitude to his parents for preserving the collection, calling them the “real MVPs.”
The Reddit co-founder is fond of collecting rare and antique items, including sculptures, vintage games, and more. Ohanian recently showcased his vintage Spider-Man game cartridges for the Game Boy Color on his Instagram story. He later shared an immaculate edition of the 1992 comic X-Men: X-Cutioner’s Song on X (formerly Twitter). In another post, he showcased Sega’s 16-bit console featuring the Game Genie.
“You had to be there. Thankfully my mom & dad saved these and most of these comics from my childhood actually graded pretty well considering I read the hell out of them,” he wrote.
A fan later appreciated Ohanian’s parents for saving these iconic comics.
“It’s so cool that your parents saved those comics,” the fan wrote.
Ohanian agreed with the fan, calling his parents the real MVP.
“They’re the real MVPs,” Ohanian replied.
Earlier this year, Serena Williams’ husband had given a sneak peek into his antiques which included a Marvel-themed sculpture, as well as memorabilia from his NWSL team.
