A gruesome knee injury was sustained by Swiss army knife Taysom Hill during Sunday’s game between the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams:

It came as Hill tried to hit the edge on the left side of the field before his leg would get sandwiched between two Rams defenders.

Of course, when a player gets injured, there’s always hope that it’s nothing serious, but a slow-motion video of the injury suggests otherwise. You can see Hill’s left knee bending the completely wrong way.

It’s unfortunate to see an injury this bad as Hill’s, which seems to be happening more frequently. The notable Lions defense lineman Aiden Hutchinson’s injury that’s sat him out for the season.
